What you would do
- Review complex individual, business, nonprofit, and information returns
- Identify tax-planning opportunities before implementation windows close
- Analyze W-2 income, equity compensation, investments, real estate, entities, and global reporting considerations together
- Lead planning conversations and explain recommendations in practical language
- Research technical issues and document positions, assumptions, and conclusions
- Coordinate with tax preparers, bookkeeping teams, and outside professionals
- Maintain professional standards, confidentiality, and strong quality controls
What matters in this role
An active CPA license, strong federal tax knowledge, experience reviewing complex returns, thoughtful research and documentation, sound professional judgment, and the ability to communicate strategy without overpromising outcomes.
